DMX lighting overhaul gives busy gym fresh energy

When one of the busiest gyms in London wanted a boost of energy, we knew DMX lighting would do just the trick.

This client wanted to bring a fresh new look and feel to their workout areas. However, as one of the busiest gyms in London, it wasn’t your average project… Over 10,000 people use the gym every day, so any downtime had to be kept to an absolute minimum.

Challenge: One of the busiest gyms in London needed an overhaul of their lighting system to give the internal areas a new look, but all the work needed to be completed without interrupting anyone’s workout!

Project planning

We worked closely with the building contractors throughout the design process to ensure that everything would run smoothly. We also scheduled all DMX lighting installation work to take place throughout the night to ensure that members would not lose access to the facilities.

The power of lighting

Using DMX lighting, we created a bespoke scheme that was designed to impress. What’s more, it actually helps the people working out. We made ‘Zones’ within the gym that were easily identifiable through colour, with the intense workout zones now benefitting from nightclub-style lighting to keep members energised and motivated.

Solution: We designed and installed a DMX lighting system that complements the activities carried out in the gym and helps to keep members motivated, working through the night to minimise disruption.

The result

We completely transformed the gym’s look and feel. Members loved the new workout zones and felt more energised than ever. As a result, the gym received new member sign-ups and is thriving even more than it was before!
